Location (include map and room info):   St. Germaine Parish Center 9711 S. KOLIN OAK LAWN, IL 60453 Workshop will be held in the Presentation Room. Enter the church off the parking lot and go upstairs. There is an elevator. 

Description of presentation:  In Session One there will be a brief overview of the history and theology of the Eucharist. We will also explore the development of the role of the laity in the liturgical life of the Church. Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences of Eucharist and worship with one another. In Session One there will be a brief overview of the history and theology of the Eucharist. In session two through prayer, reflection and praxis, participants will explore what it means to be an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist in the 21st Century.  It will address the call to ministry and what it means to be a Minister of the Eucharist in the Church of today’s world.
