“Ministry has to be synodal; it should involve a journeying together… In this way, by learning from one another, we can better reflect that wonderful multifaceted reality that Christ’s Church is meant to be.” | Pope Francis, Christus Vivit, 206-207 |
Journeying Together: A National Intercultural Encounter for Ministries with Youth and Young Adults will be a special gathering and process featuring an intentional and culturally-competent dialogue on the accompaniment of young people of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds across the United States.
In collaboration with national ministry networks that offer complementary gifts and capabilities, Journeying Together seeks to discern and implement a pastoral process to identify, empower, form, and connect representative leaders of youth, young adult and campus ministries of the Catholic Church in the United States. The pastoral process and event will be informed and inspired by Pope Francis' Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation Christus Vivit.
