Vicariate Ministry Commission sponsored an evening of reconciliation, reflection and music. This workshop was presented by Paul Hillebrand.

Oregon Catholic Press and World Library Publications composer and recording artist, Paul Hillebrand, led us deeper into God’s mercy through meditation and music. Don’t let Pope Francis’ call to “Be merciful as the Father is merciful” become a thing of the past when this Jubilee Year of Mercy ends. We filled our inner well and we were energized to go forth and extend the gift of God’s mercy to the world.

Paul Hillebrand has been involved in liturgical music ministry for more than 35 years. For the past 15 years, he has been the Director of Music at St. Patrick Catholic Community in Scottsdale, Arizona. Paul earned a degree in choral education from Arizona State University, and also completed advanced liturgical studies training through the Corpus Christi Center in Phoenix.

Paul leads prayer concerts, retreats and workshops on Spirituality and Liturgy throughout the world. He was raised in Evanston, Illinois, and now lives in Tempe, Arizona, with his wife, Nan, and their four young adult children. Their youngest daughter, dear sweet Julia, forever almost 13, continues to inspire her family from heaven.

Paul has 3 collections of his own Liturgical music: “Journey to You”, “How Shall We Know You” and “Promise”. His songs have been included in the “Glory and Praise Comprehensive”, “Spirit and Song”, “Breaking Bread” and “We Celebrate” hymnals.
